The Iberville Parish Environmental Department works to maintain environmental regulatory compliance on behalf of the Iberville Parish Council Office and advise the Parish President on environmental issues. The Environmental Departments mission is to protect, preserve, and restore the rich natural resources of the parish in cooperation with the public, industry, local businesses, and parish municipalities to improve and to help sustain quality of life in Iberville Parish.

Public awareness, education and volunteer activities are implemented as a proactive approach to help keep residents informed of parish environmental issues and ways to aid in helping improve the environment.
