Sales & Use Tax
The Iberville Parish Sales & Use Tax Department is the central collection agency for sales and use taxes received on behalf of its authorized taxing jurisdictions within Iberville Parish. It is responsible for the collection, administration and enforcement of the sales and use taxes levied by the Iberville Parish Council, Iberville Parish School Board, City of St. Gabriel and the University Club Center Economic Development District.
The Sales & Use Tax Department is responsible for the parish wide collection, administration and enforcement of Hotel/Motel Taxes. The Department is also responsible for the collection, administration and enforcement for Occupational License Tax, Beer and Liquor Permits and Insurance Premium Taxes for the unincorporated areas of Iberville Parish. *Notice: New Sales and Use Tax rate of 7.666% applies only within the boundaries of University Club Center Economic Development District (UCC EDD) effective April 1st, 2015. The UCC Economic Development District is located inside the corporate limits of the City of St. Gabriel at 745 Highway 30, St. Gabriel, LA 70776. Also, please note the sales tax rate differences for areas both inside and outside of the City of St. Gabriel and Sunshine. Paying your Sales & Use taxes has never been easier. The following options are available to you:

- Click the SIGN UP NOW button
- Enter your information on the New Account page
- Enter a Username and Password
- Click the NEXT Button
- Select SETUP RETURNS option to enter the appropriate tax return information (Please note that both the bank routing number and the account number are needed from your checking or savings account to use this service. The bank routing number and the checking or savings account number must be taken direct from your check or deposit slip and compared to the bank routing number and account number entered on the "NEW ACCOUNT" page. This will ensure timely filing of returns and payment of taxes.)

- Select local payments and enter your zip code
- Select a payment type and click CONTINUE
- Enter total payment without convenience fee and click CONTINUE
- Read terms and conditions and click ACCEPT
- Enter the necessary information:
- Business name on account.
- Physical address on account
- Telephone number where you can be reached
- Account number for taxes you are paying.
- Enter credit card information including card type, card account # and expiration date, then click CONTINUE
- Confirm payment information and click SUBMIT
- Write down confirmation number for your records

- Enter the jurisdiction code 2808 that is assigned to the Iberville Parish Sales & Use Tax Department
- Follow the messages, inputting data when necessary (have your account number and the amount you wish to pay ready)
- Wait for a confirmation number
- After paying your taxes via telephone, you are required to mail or fax a copy of your Sales Tax Report to the Iberville Parish Sales & Use Tax Department, indicate when payment was made. Remember to include the name of the business and physical address of the business on the paperwork.
