Hunter Education Class

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is hosting a FREE Hunter Education Class! 🦌🦆
- Friday, May 1st | 6:00 PM – 9:00 pm
- Saturday, May 2nd | 8:00 aM – 3:00 pm
This 10-hour course covers everything from firearm and hunting safety to wildlife management, ethics, game identification, and outdoor survival. Plus, students will participate in a live-fire exercise — firearms and ammunition are provided, so there is no need to bring your own.
