Permits & Inspections

The Iberville Parish Permits & Inspections Department is prioritizes the safety of new construction projects. The department's regulations and policies follow the International Building Codes. The department is also required by FEMA to enforce flood zone management.

The Permits & Inspections Department is responsible for issuing new construction, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, demolition, solar panel, and mobile home permits. The department also addresses complaints related to high grass, debris, derelict structures, junk, and junk/abandoned vehicles.

The Permits and Inspections Department is now only accepting online applications. This link will provide all permit applications that Iberville Parish offers. All permit applications for Iberville Parish must be completed online through the MGO Connect Customer Portal. 

How to Access:
Services can be accessed online via their website at https://www.mgoconnect.org/cp/portal or through their mobile app, available from the App Store or Google Play Store

How to Create/Manage Applications:
To start an application and manage your account, you will be required to create an account first. Follow the instructions on the MGO Connect Portal to get started.

SANDBAG DISTRIBUTION UPDATE
With heavy rain and flash flooding in the forecast this week, sandbags will be available across Iberville Parish by 4:00 PM, May 6. Reminder: You must present a valid photo ID with an Iberville Parish address to receive sandbags.
