Natural Gas
If the natural gas line has already been installed to the business or residence in which service is requested, a deposit, a purchase agreement, or a rental agreement is required to start service. Deposits are paid at the Utility Department Office. A picture ID and physical address are required to make a deposit. For line installation, a copy of the building permit is required.

Fees:

• Resident Deposit, $75
• Commercial Deposit, $500
  (Business licenses or company check is required)
• Natural Gas Line Installation, $500*
• Upgraded Service Line Generator Installation, $750*

*This fee covers up to 60 feet of line. Additional footage required to establish service beyond 60 feet is billed at a rate of $1 per foot, and is billed after service is installed.

Water
If the water line has already been extended to the business or residence in which service is sought, a deposit is required to start service. Deposits are paid at the Iberville Utility Department Office. A picture ID and physical address are required to make a deposit.

Fees for All Water Systems:

• Diameter of 5/8”-3/4”, $50
• Diameter of 1”-1.5”, $100
• Diameter of 2” & Above, $300

Installation Fees:

• Service Line for 5/8”, $450*

*All service lines that are 1” and above for all water systems are required to reimburse all costs (materials, equipment, and labor). Please call for pricing.

Sewer
If the sewer line has already been extended to the business or residence in which service is sought, a building permit and fee is required. This fee must be paid to the Iberville Permits & Inspections Office.

If a sewer tie-in is required, the cost is $150 for residences and commercial businesses; fee must be paid to the Iberville Parish Utility Department Office.

To pay a bill online, visit the Utilities Portal. Payments made online using a Visa, Mastercard of Discover credit card will incur a $2.60 fee.

Bills can also be paid in-person (auto-bank draft sign-up is available) at one of the following locations:
