Council on Aging

Welcome to Iberville Parish Council on Aging where our mission is to provide the best service to seniors 60 and older.  Our goal is to provide service to seniors so that they may remain in their homes and communities with independence and dignity.

Services

Quality service is provided to seniors in the following areas according to Capital Area Agency on Aging and Iberville Parish Council on Aging Standards and Regulations.

Transportation: Provides transportation to places such as Council on Aging, medical appointments, social service agencies.

Home Delivered Meals:  Nutritionally balanced frozen meals delivered to seniors who are homebound or disabled.

WELLNESS:  Provides a range of service that promotes health and well-being to the seniors of our community.

Acadian On Call: Provides emergency response units.

Telephoning: Calls are placed to seniors who live alone to show our care and concern and to ensure their health and well-being is cared for.

Congregate Meals:  A well-balanced nutritious meal served daily at 11:30 a.m.

We also offer Seminars, Bingo, Arts & Crafts, Games and other programs
