Behavioral Health
The Iberville Parish Office of Behavioral Health provides assessment, prevention, education, referral, and outpatient behavioral health services to individuals and families across the parish. Building on more than 25 years of service, the office offers both virtual and in-person care to meet the needs of Iberville Parish residents age 18 and over, including individual and group counseling. Services address a wide range of behavioral health needs, including mental health challenges, substance use, and overall wellness.
The office also works closely with probation and parole agencies, providing evaluations and recommendations, and connects individuals to appropriate detoxification and inpatient services when needed.
In partnership with the 18th Judicial District Specialty Courts, the Office of Behavioral Health provides therapeutic services and urine drug screenings for participants in the 18th JDC Drug Court Program.
Additional services include prevention training and educational programs for educators and students in grades K-5 throughout Iberville Parish schools, promoting early awareness and healthy decision-making.
The Office of Behavioral Health is funded through the support of the Iberville Parish Council and state contracts. At this time, services are provided without billing public or private insurance agencies.
