IPSAC is proud to provide substance abuse services to residents of Iberville Parish. We value your privacy and provide confidential services. IPSAC counselors provide assessments, recommendations, outpatient individual and group treatment, and referrals to other agencies as appropriate.

Admission criteria for treatment:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have access to transportation, or
• Access to telephone or internet for virtual services.
  *Some services may require limited in-person access (i.e., urine drug screens)

Our services include flexible day and evening hours to accommodate our clients in maintaining their family, employment and other responsibilities while receiving help in a supportive environment. Our office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and our clinic hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., excluding holidays.

1. For whom do you provide services?
   IPSAC provides services to adults, age 18 and older, who have an addiction or abuse problem, and is a resident of Iberville Parish.
2. Do you provide a substance abuse evaluation if I am court ordered?
   Yes, if you are a resident of Iberville Parish or if you are being referred to IPSAC by the 18th judicial district.
3. Do you provide anger management?
   We do not provide anger management courses at this time, but will be happy to provide you with information regarding local/regional anger management resources.
4. Do you provide DWI driving courses?
   We do not provide DWI driving course this time, but will be happy to provide you with information regarding local/regional DWI driving course resources.
5. How much do you charge?
   IPSAC's services are funded in part by the Iberville Parish Council and/or state contracts. Some fees apply. IPSAC operates on a sliding fee basis for services.
6. I don't have transportation. Can I still receive services?
   Yes. Since the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, IPSAC has begun offering virtual assessments; group, individual, and family treatment sessions. There is a limited number of times you will need to come to the office in person to provide a signature or urine sample but we will work with you to ensure you are able to receive services.
7. I don't have internet access. Can I still receive services?
   Yes, however, your services will be limited to individual and/or family therapy due to the inability to perform group therapy via telephone only.
8. I've been recommended for treatment groups and individual therapy but I work during the day. Can I still receive services?
   Yes. Service times are flexible and offered both daytime and evening hours.
9. I have a probation officer. What do you tell them?
   All information provided to IPSAC is confidential and is not shared with any agency without a signed form by you providing consent to release your information. Information released to other agencies and individuals is limited to only what is needed to provide adequate services and oversight, including compliance with recommendations and attendance records.
10. I have a family member/employee/or friend who needs substance abuse treatment help. What can I do?
    • Provide your family member/employee/or friend with our website information for answers to some frequently asked questions.
    • Provide your family member/employee or friend our contact information and ask them to contact our office.
    • Encourage the person you are concerned about and realize they must take steps to help themselves.You can't do it for them but you can take good emotional and physical care of yourself and be available when they ask you for help to get treatment.
